Desktop 7-9-11

My desktop, as of, well, today. This is another picture taken during the vacation in Tennessee.

This large (very large) beetle was just hanging out on our deck. Getting his picture was pretty amusing, actually. I used the flashlight on my phone to get some extra light (as it was nighttime when this was taken, obviously) and had my mom hold the phone above him while I frantically tried to stay out of the light and yet still get his picture.

This was obviously the result. Actually a really good picture! At least in my opinion. This has not been edited in the slightest. Just put it as my desktop, no re-sizing or anything.

Oh, and for the size. He was almost as big as my phone. Probably about 4 inches long. Which doesn't really sound that long but in terms of my hand length, he was longer than my palm. He was a big guy.

When I first showed this picture to my wife, she got all grossed out and was yelling at me. So today she tried to use my laptop and found this as my desktop. She left me threatening messages before I went into work because of it.
