Fireworks. I thought they almost looked like music notes but I'm not sure if my brain is just making things up. 
Not sure how much more I can say about that.
Um, I played with the contrast and saturation. Nothing else was edited.
Forgive my n00bness in these. I'm not very practiced with fireworks or with editing. I'm mostly just testing some things out and playing around.

That is really cool! Musical notes is not what I first saw- gotta say it was paper fans for me- but now that you mention it...It's definitley a cresendo of sorts as well!
Your 'n00bness' puts my n00bness to shame. ...Wait...did that mean what I hope it meant and not the opposite? GOODNESS I am tired. LOL. What I was trying to say is that this is great. Just the right amount of contrast/sat IMO. And not n00bish at all.
