Regal

Because we're in a heat advisory and the temperatures today got to 110 degrees Fahrenheit, it seemed like the perfect day to go to our local outdoor, not-very-shaded zoo. At least to *ScarySeregwen. So to the zoo we went.

A lovely male peacock (so redundant to say that but not everyone knows that females are peahens instead of peacocks) just surveying everything on the outer wall of the zoo. There's always plenty of peafowls roaming about inside the zoo, sort of like the ducks and geese. They just fly in and stick around because they get fed and fussed over. But I loved how this guy looked on the wall.

Didn't get very many post-worthy pictures but I did want to upload this one. Probably my favorite of the trip. Hasn't been edited at all! But I will probably end up cropping it at some point, mostly to get the wall out of the shot. But I wanted to upload an unedited picture at least once and I think this one is good enough without editing to post.
